30 Day Return Policy

Products may be returned up to 30 days after date of purchase. All items must be in their original packaging and in "NEW" or "unused" condition. A credit will be issued after items have been received, inspected and found to be in resalable condition. ALL returns, exchanges or refunds are minus S&H costs.
Credit will only be applied to the item not shipping or handling charges. We will issue credit in the same form original payment was made. If you paid with a credit card we will credit that card. If you paid with a check or money order we will send you a check.
The customer is responsible for all S&H costs to return the item(s). We highly recommend you track your returns with delivery confirmation, so you may confirm we have received your item(s) for return. You may also want to consider insuring your return. Gilchrist Electric, Inc. will not be responsible for the loss of any returns.
Refused Orders/Packages
Refusing an order/package upon attempted delivery does NOT entitle you to a FULL refund. Refused orders/packages will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Plus our cost to ship the package to you & return shipping back to us. ***As we are charged return postaged for all refused packages.
Undeliverable Orders/Packages
Undeliverable orders/packages upon attempted delivery does NOT entitle you to a FULL refund. Undeliverable orders/packages will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Plus our cost to ship the package to you & return shipping back to us. ***As we are charged return postaged for all refused & undeliverable packages. Please be sure the address you submit with your order is correct.
To return an item, email us for a returned merchandise authorization number (RMA#). Please clearly mark "RMA # _ _ _" on the outside of the package. All packages without RMA#s will be refused.

There are no returns on CDs. However, we will exchange defective CDs for non-defective ones.
This return policy does not include generators. There are no returns on generators. You need to inspect your generator immediately upon receipt and note any damages on the trucking company's packing slip before the driver leaves. If there is a warranty issue with your generator, contact us and we will give you the name and number of your local authorized service dealer.
Gilchrist Electric, Inc. is an authorized sales and service dealer for Generac Guardian Generators, Generator Self-Test Verifiers, Liebert Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems, SurgeAssure Surge Protection Systems and Sunwize Solar. We will repair these items within a 100 mile radius of Bozeman, MT.
