Generac Transfer Switches
Generac RTS automatic trransfer switches are designed to operate with the Generac R-Series controller used on the 1.5, 1.6, 2.4 and 3.0 liter Guardian Elite gaseous generators. The transfer switches are UL 1008 listed for standby operation.
Transfer Switch Features
The standard 100 - 400 amp transfer switch is housed in a steel NEMA 3R enclosure with electrostatically applied powder paint. The Heavy Duty contactor is a UL recognized device, designed for years of service. The connection between the RTS and the Generator control consists of (4) #14 control wires and a neutral wire. The Service Entrance rated transfer switches have a UL Listed Mainline circuit breaker ahead of and in back of the contactor for full downstream protection.
