Today's advanced fast ethernet computer networks require Category 5 "enhanced" (CAT5e) high-speed cabling to distribute voice, data and video. These cables will handle intensive bandwidth applications up to 350 Mhz. Each cable comes UL verified to meet all Cat 5e EIA/TIA standards, and drastically reduce both impedance and structural return loss (SRL) as compared to standard CAT5 (100 Mhz) wire. This is accomplished by bonding each of the individual pairs together, helping to maintain the twist-spacing throughout the line right up to your termination point. Constructed with high-quality wire and a shortened body plug helping to keep near-end crosstalk (NEXT) levels to a minimum. The molded, snagless boot prevents cable snags during installation and provides extra strain-relief. Additionally, these cables have stranded conductors (wires) for added flexibility.

These Cat5e cables can be used in network applications such as 10Base-T, 100Base-T, 1000Base-T ethernet technology up to 100 meters (328 feet). They perform at high-data transfer rates (350 Mhz), and work with ATM and gigabit speed products. These cables deliver improved performance over standard Cat5 cables and will work with your existing CAT5 network.

CAT5e patch cables are also used with:

Refused or Undeliverable Orders/Packages
